Romantic getaway
in Okinawa
A relaxing and wonderful break for couples, between idyllic beaches, island culture and moments for two.
Day 1, Naha: First day in Okinawa Paradise
Upon arriving in Naha, stroll along Kokusai-dōri Street, adorned with lanterns and filled with tropical aromas. Sample some local specialties at Makishi Market , such as sata andagi ( fried buns) or the surprising combination of rice balls and fried chicken: onisasa . Then, head to Shuri-jo Castle via its famous cobblestone road. The castle is a symbol of the ancient Ryūkyū Kingdom, and surrounded by a large park, it is vibrant year-round with a variety of events and exhibitions. Renting traditional Ryūkyū clothing includes a photo session: a truly charming souvenir.
Enjoy a drink on your hotel terrace at dusk. The sky turns pink and orange, and the garden lights up. Perfect for ending your first day.

Day 2, Kouri Island: departure for secret beaches
Depart by car heading north, stopping at the spectacular Kouri Bridge , which connects Okinawa to Kouri Island , nicknamed "Love Island". While strolling there, don't miss the "Heart Rocks" : two natural heart-shaped rocks, a place for Japanese people to make love wishes.
Lunch in a small café overlooking the sea: choose one that showcases local products. A must-do in Okinawa is scuba diving in the island's turquoise waters to discover tropical fish and coral. Relax in the evening on Emerald Beach, enjoy a gourmet dinner, and spend the night in an exceptional hotel nearby.
Kouri Island is one of the “power spots” of love, that is to say, a place where the positive energy linked to love is particularly intense.

Day 3, North Okinawa: Nature and relaxation
For a day away from it all, where you can feel like you're the only person in the world, Yanbaru National Park is ideal. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is perfect for a walk in the rainforest and for observing endemic birds.
Enjoy a nature-inspired lunch at a restaurant near Tobaru Square, followed by a relaxing afternoon. Indulge in an intimate couples massage at your hotel's aromatherapy salon. For your final night in Okinawa, take a stroll on the beach across from your hotel. A professional photographer will capture this last evening with the sunset over the beach.

Day 4, Yomitan: last day in paradise
Enjoy breakfast on the terrace with breathtaking sea views. Then, take a drive to Senaha Beach for a final swim in its crystal-clear waters. Nearby is the village of Yomitan , where you can participate in activities showcasing Okinawan culture: making and painting shisa (the island's guardian lions), or the famous aizome blue dye.
Naha Airport is full of shops where you can buy souvenirs from the island: chinsuko biscuits, island salt, glasses produced on the island (the “Ryūkyū Glass”) or even fabric bags with colorful Okinawa patterns.

The " Romantic Getaway to Okinawa " excursion forms the final part of our " Honeymoon " tour. You can also extend your romantic trip with our excursions to Kanazawa and/or Tokyo .
