Your journey begins in Tokyo , the capital that never sleeps. Explore the city from end to end, from Akihabara, the pop-culture district , to Harajuku , the shopping district , passing through Shinjuku and Kabukicho, the heart of the capital's nightlife . Then head to Nikko , 150km from Tokyo, to recharge in nature at the onsen (hot springs) and visit the mausoleums of the Tokugawa shoguns, rulers of Japan between the 17th and 19th centuries.
